In 2009 the Open Championship returns to Turnberry for the first time since 1994.
This spectacular course was flattened to be used as an airbase during World War II and then finally restored to its former glory in 1951. Ever since then it has been regarded as one of the top 20 designed courses anywhere in the world!.
With the world’s top players vying to take home the famous Claret Jug, an absence of fifteen years, and around 200,000 fans attending. This really is going to be the event of the Summer.
